Finally am able to come back to work on personal work after moving.

Gunship II – changing to a bomber

Same idea with last ship. but this time trying a little different design.

I am still not happy with the engine, will probably change the shape and fully redesign it to fit the main body a little better.

decided to change this ship to a bomber because of the large central hull

added another wing and the bomber bay hatch

Gunship Concept

So I am concepting a small fighter ship that is designed to take down destroyers and starship carriers.

The main gun takes a long time to charge up. About 4 shots will take down the ship shield. Depending on the placement of the shot, one more shot may take down the ship.

The concept is that a small fleet of these, about 7 or 8 of them would be protected by several units of star fighters to protect them. these would focus on take down the large ships. They would coordinate the attacks and a barrage of these cannon fires would take one large ship down.

After the initial concept, i decided to change the general shape of the engines.

Stand by for further development

here is the latest version, still not really happy with it. will go back and work on it more when i get the chance.

kept the design but started a new painting.
